Internet lines take weeks to order, Wi-Fi needs designing for the new walls, phones have to move without missing calls, and every desk needs to come back up. We plan it from the day you sign the lease and run it on the day, so the only thing your staff notice is the new view.

What is included
A plan with dates
An audit of what you have, what the new building has, and what needs ordering, with a timeline working back from move day. The internet line goes on order first, because it is always the long pole.
Connectivity at the new site
Broadband or a leased line ordered from the carrier that serves the building, with a 4G or 5G backup in place from day one in case the carrier's date slips. The old line kept running until the new one is proven.
Network and Wi-Fi installed before you arrive
Cabling, switches, firewall and Wi-Fi designed for the new floor plan and installed while the building is empty, then tested with real devices before a single desk moves.
Phones that keep ringing
VoIP or Teams numbers move with no gap; if you are still on old lines, the move is the moment to port them. Call routing set up for the new layout.
Move day and the Monday after
Engineers on site to disconnect, move and reconnect desks, servers and printers, check every user's kit works, and stay for the first morning to catch what the plan missed.
The tidy-up
Old kit wiped and recycled, the old site's lines and services cancelled on the right dates, and documentation of the new setup so it is not a mystery next time.
What is not included, and why
- Removals. Desks, chairs and boxes are the removals company's job. We coordinate with them so the IT is disconnected last and reconnected first.
- Electrical and building works. Power, containment and any building alterations are arranged with your contractor or landlord; we tell you exactly what is needed and where, early enough to get it done.
- Carrier timescales. Installation dates are the carrier's estimates and can slip. The plan assumes they will, which is why the backup connection exists.
What it costs
Quoted as a fixed-price project after a site visit to the new building, with hardware, connectivity and labour itemised. Managed IT clients get the planning and coordination as part of their service and pay only for new kit and on-site days. Questions people ask before signing
How much notice do you need for an office move?
Ideally the day you start looking at buildings, so we can check what connectivity they actually have before you sign. Realistically, eight to twelve weeks from signing lets us order lines without paying for expedited installs. We have done it in less, with a 4G backup carrying the office until the line arrived.
Can you check a building's internet before we sign the lease?
Yes, and it is the most useful thing we do. Two similar offices can differ by months of lead time and hundreds of pounds a month in line costs depending on which carriers reach the building. A quick check costs nothing and can change which office you choose.
Will we lose our phone numbers?
No. Numbers are ported or, if already on VoIP, simply follow you. We keep the old service running until the new one answers.
What if the internet line is not ready on move day?
The plan assumes it might not be. A 4G or 5G backup on the firewall keeps email, phones and card machines working until the line arrives, and the switch-over when it does is a few minutes.
Do you handle the old office?
Yes. Kit removed and wiped, lines and services cancelled on the right dates so you are not paying for an empty office, and the landlord handed back a clean comms room.
We are not a managed IT client. Can you still do the move?
Yes. Moves are quoted as a stand-alone project. A lot of clients start with the move and stay for the support, but there is no obligation.
