We design, install and then look after business networks on Ubiquiti UniFi kit: Wi-Fi, firewalls, switching, cabling and CCTV, managed from one console and covered by the same helpdesk as the rest of your IT.
Who this is for
Businesses moving into or refitting an office, businesses whose Wi-Fi or internet keeps letting them down, and anyone whose network was installed years ago by someone who has since disappeared. Also businesses that want cameras and door access on the same system as the network, rather than another supplier and another login.
What is included
Wi-Fi that covers the building
A survey first, so access points go where the people and the walls are, not where the last installer had a spare cable. Separate networks for staff, guests and devices such as printers and card machines, so a visitor's laptop can never reach your server.
A firewall configured properly
A business-grade firewall with the rules written down: what is allowed in, what is allowed out, VPN access for remote staff, content filtering where you want it, and 4G or 5G failover so a line fault does not stop work. Updated and reviewed, not fitted and forgotten.
Switching and cabling
Managed switches with power for access points, phones and cameras, tidy patch panels and labelled cabling. New cabling runs and containment are arranged as part of the project, so you deal with one company.
UniFi Protect CCTV
Cameras recorded locally on your own hardware, no monthly cloud fee per camera, viewable from a phone, and on the same system as the network. Installed to comply with UK data protection guidance on signage, retention and access to footage.
Door access and guest Wi-Fi
UniFi door access where you want to stop handing out keys, and a guest Wi-Fi portal with your branding and terms.
Monitoring and support
Every access point, switch, firewall and camera reports into the same console we use for support. A failed device raises a ticket with us before you notice; configuration changes are a helpdesk request.
What is not included, and why
- Electrical work. Where an install needs new power points or a certified electrician, that is arranged and quoted as part of the project rather than absorbed and hidden.
- Consumer kit. We will not fit a domestic router and call it a business network. If budget is tight we will design a smaller UniFi setup that can grow, rather than something that will need replacing.
- The internet line itself. Broadband and leased lines are on their own page and are usually part of the same project.
What it costs
Every network is quoted as a project after a survey, with hardware, installation and configuration shown separately so you can see what the kit costs. Questions people ask before signing
Why UniFi?
Because it does business-grade Wi-Fi, firewalls, switching, cameras and door access from one console, with no per-device licence fees, at a price a small business can justify. We are a Ubiquiti UniFi partner and it is what we run ourselves. Where a client already has other equipment that works, we support it rather than rip it out.
How much does business Wi-Fi installation cost?
It depends on the size and construction of the building and how many access points it needs, which is why we survey first. A small office is often a single day's work plus the kit; a multi-floor building with cabling is a larger project. You get a fixed quote with the kit and labour itemised.
Can you fix our existing Wi-Fi rather than replace it?
Often, yes. Many Wi-Fi problems are placement, channel interference or a single overloaded access point rather than bad kit. A survey tells us which, and we will say if replacement is not needed.
Do you install CCTV?
Yes, on the UniFi Protect platform, recorded on your own hardware with no monthly cloud fee per camera. We install to comply with UK data protection guidance: signage, a defined retention period, and controlled access to footage. Where the install needs a certified electrician, that is arranged as part of the project.
Will a new network mean downtime?
Usually a switch-over outside working hours or at a quiet time, planned so the old network stays up until the new one is tested. For an office move, the network is installed and tested before the move day.
Can we manage it ourselves afterwards?
You can have access to the console, and some clients prefer it. Most leave it with us: we monitor it, keep firmware current, and make changes on request, and the network stays in the same support contract as everything else.
