Microsoft 365, run by someone who reads the admin centre.

Most businesses pay for Microsoft 365, use email and Office, and never touch the rest. We buy the right licences, switch on what you are paying for, administer every account and sign-in policy, and handle starters and leavers the day they happen. Google Workspace too, for businesses that live there.

Licences reviewed every quarter Joiners and leavers same day Microsoft partner; licences through Giacom

Who this is for

Businesses of 10 to 250 people on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace who have nobody in-house doing the administration properly, or where the last person who did has left. It is bought on its own by businesses with their own desktop support, or as part of managed IT support.

What is included

The right licences, and not more

Business Basic, Standard or Premium per person based on what they do, bought through our partner distributor and reviewed each quarter. Unused seats are released; people on the wrong plan are moved.

Identity and access

Accounts, groups and mailboxes administered. Multi-factor authentication and conditional access policies set and maintained so a stolen password on its own gets nobody in.

Joiners, movers and leavers

Tell us by 10am and the new starter has a working account, mailbox, Teams and the right groups by lunch. Leavers are closed the day you tell us, mail forwarded, files handed over and the licence released.

Security alerts triaged

Identity-related alerts from Microsoft 365 (impossible travel, risky sign-ins, new inbox rules) reviewed and acted on. Full 24/7 monitoring is the cyber security service; this is the daytime baseline.

Devices through Intune

With the managed device service, laptops and phones are enrolled in Intune with encryption, compliance policies and the ability to wipe a lost device remotely. Our Intune and BYOD guide explains what that means for personal phones.

Copilot, where it earns its keep

Copilot licences for the people who spend their day in Outlook, Teams and Word, after the SharePoint permissions are tidy enough that it cannot surface things it should not. A short training session rather than an email.

What is not included, and why

  • Device support. Managed User covers the person's identity and accounts. Fixing the laptop is the managed device service, and the two are usually bought together; each is a separate line on the quotation so you can see what you are paying for.
  • The Microsoft licences themselves. Bought through us at the price on the quotation and shown separately from the service fee.
  • Migrations. Moving from another provider, from Google to Microsoft, or from an old on-premises server is a project, scoped and quoted on its own.

What it costs

Managed User is from £35 per identified user per month, excluding VAT, with Microsoft licences billed separately at the price on your quotation. The initial term is 36 months, stated on the quotation along with what happens at the end. When it is combined with device support, the two are quoted together as managed IT support.

How it starts

  1. 1Free IT Health CheckA short online check that benchmarks your security and business risk and tells you where you stand.
  2. 2Discovery callAn engineer, not a salesperson. What you have, what is broken, what it would cost to fix, in writing.
  3. 3OnboardingEverything moves across on a plan, with no gap in cover and nothing lost.

Questions people ask before signing

Which Microsoft 365 licence should we be on?

For most businesses of 10 to 250 people, Business Premium. It costs more than Standard but includes the device management, identity protection and Defender tools you would otherwise buy separately, and it is what Cyber Essentials and insurers expect. Frontline or very light users can sit on Basic. Our licensing guide compares the plans with current UK prices.

Can you take over a tenant someone else set up?

Yes. We need a Global Administrator account in your business's name, which you should have anyway. We audit what is there, fix what is unsafe, and document it. If the previous provider owns the admin account, our switching guide covers how to get it back.

Do you do Google Workspace?

Yes. The same service, user administration, security policies, joiners and leavers, for businesses that run on Google. We will not push you to Microsoft if Google is working.

How fast are joiners and leavers handled?

Same working day, and usually within a couple of hours. Leavers are the urgent ones: the account is disabled the moment you tell us, which is why we ask that you tell us promptly. Our joiners and leavers guide has the checklist.

Is Copilot worth it?

For people who write, summarise and sit in meetings all day, yes. For everyone else, usually not. We licence it per person, not per company, and we sort the permissions out first so it cannot show a junior the directors' folder.

What does being a Microsoft partner mean for us?

We buy your licences through Giacom, a Microsoft distributor, which means one invoice, monthly flexibility on most plans, and support that knows your tenant rather than a call centre. It does not mean we are paid to sell you more Microsoft; the licence review each quarter usually reduces the bill.
